The desire for “A Sound Mind” is the theme behind the music with a sincere motivation of challenging and improving the emotional intelligence of listeners.  A Sound Mind is not a part of any particular religion, spiritualism or any other society that tells people how to live.

~ HISTORY AND HORIZON ~

On December 16th 2005 ASM launched their debut 4-track EP "So Thankful" to a sold out Gershwin Room at the Esplanade hotel.  (700+) "One of the biggest debut Ep launches in Victorian history..." Drum Scene magazine

Gaining support from Triple J, FBI & community radio, the band continued to expand their fan-base, whilst touring through regional parts of Victoria.  With unorthodox promotion and a great live show, they made an enormous impact in Melbourne and surrounding regional areas.

On 21st July, A Sound Mind released their debut self produced album “Harmonia”  @ the Hifi bar to kick off a successful 11 month national promotional tour.  Thanks to the internet, commercial and community radio play, colourful street promotion and word of mouth, A Sound Mind have developed a surprisingly large fanbase in Australia and are now casting their eyes on Europe.

Throughout June, July, August & Sept 2008 A Sound Mind will be visiting UK, France, Germany, Italy and more.  Check gig section for details.  On their return to Australia they will do one final national tour before breaking into a fierce hermit mode to record the next album.
